Flight School Process

Discovery Flight

All flight students take a Discovery Flight with one of our instructors before beginning their instruction. This 30-minute flight gives you the opportunity to see what it's like to fly a plane, ask questions, and make sure it is something you want to commit to.

Private Pilot Requirements

  1. Log 40 hours of flight time

    1. Min. 20 hours of instruction

    2. Min. 10 hours of solo flight time

  2. Complete a written exam

  3. Physical from an AME

  4. Proficient in Far Part 61

  5. Practical flight exam
